Hello!

My name is Yasmine. I am an Artist, Illustrator and creative facilitator based in Ealing.

This is a collection of my commissions, teaching experiences, and personal projects. My work is inspired by Islamic architecture, Arabic calligraphy and abstracted mark making. I love working between a balance and order of geometric shapes in Islamic pattern while incorporating the fluidity of Arabic lettering.

In addition to my studio practice, I have worked across commerical illustration, public art, and community-led curation. I have developed murals for public and private spaces, illustrated children’s books, and led arts programming that centers dialogue, collaboration, and cultural heritage.
